Her passion for desserts started at a ripe old age of 5. With lots of encouragement from her family & friends, it wasn't long before that she started a small home based business.

Pursuing her dream of becoming a top cake decorator, she left Singapore and ventured of to the wide open realm, that is New York. Sumi graduated at the top of her class of the most prestigious culinary school in the world, The Culinary Institute of America.

She was the Head Cake decorator for a successful and established bakery in Bonita, Hans & Harry's Bakery Corp for 3 years.

Having more than 15 years of experience in the field of baking and pastry, Sumi is now channeling all her energy towards her business. She is hoping to kick-off a successful business making wedding cakes in San Diego.

At Kafe Leopold's when Sumi was working as an Asst. Pastry Chef
